Umbau twins

And again, a challenge from the online Forum of the Twenot Build something converted. Wel, I already had plans. for the ultimate conversion. The Umbauwagen vehicles of the German army of the last war years are basically a heavy car, stripped from it's rear side and putting a wooden 6 man group carrier on it. The chassis is exposed, so you need some info on it. Besides my love for the 1939 Chevrolet, my heart is also with the liberation of my home town Eindhoven, where the paratroopers liberated a Hudson. Only problem, no models available.

A new kind of cyanide glue, with rubber in it, is the solution to the tiny copper wires that keep jumping of.

My actions with this build are best viewed in the Twenot thread. These are only some highlights. The first chevy is a massive block. The second I clipped away all external parts and cut into it for the grill and other parts would be to small to print. After that a "vase" print that creates a skin (of a Hudson) but all have to be filled with putty and sanded.
