35th ScalelineIn September 2019 I bought a vintage Scale line resin kit. Comparing the wheels with my 1980's Schmidt vacu kit and the wheel I converted I was not very happy. When I got another resin one, last Autumn I put everything together. Kit's, drawings, pictures and started comparing everthing which evolved into this website. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The nice round hubcabs that are seen in most pictures after the prototype stage with the bold curved thread are the ones from MR models that provided them for free! So, let the games begin! Now the wheels are good, the rest is just adding some details. Right? Sorry, wrong. The hull is to low, the tower is way to small and the traction, the famous TraDo axle is way of. The front periscope is to far to the lift (if you loook from the drivers position inside) The rear fenders positioned to low, the trenchwheels are to far out. Maybe I had better bought the MR one.... This is the situation in september 2022. It's a strugle. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's a puzzle to organize all info in way to find it back for me, but also to someone that finds this website. So this queste to build these massive resin blocks has evolved into a seperate page. |
