Armoured Schwerer Wehrmacht Schlepper sWS
(Gepanzerte Ausfuehrung)

From mid-1944 a number of sWS is equipped with a factory mounted armoured cab (8 to 15mm). The engine, radiator and driver's compartment are enclosed in light armour plate. The armour is welded except for the engine cover, which is bolted. The body consisted of a flat bed covered with steel plates and fitted with hinged sides.
