Hollands Glorie

6th scale 1936 Dutch Helmet
Eekle Warrink anounced this little yem om the Twenot-forum. And I instantly wanted one. The sleek design was unique to the Dutch pre-war army. (Yes, I know, it was used by the Rumanian army too) The huge proud copper plate with a magnificant art deco lion. It's a small series cast from a master that's a perfected 3d print by his brothers hand.

Build history

The rim on the inside and the helmet interiour I added. The paint is a basecoat of tamiya with the other colours added with a brush. All colours matched to a couple of pictures from an original. The leather parts got a couple of layers very thin oilpaint to get a leathery look.
