Gruppenkraftwagen or Polizei-Cabrio

Not strictly a bus, but very close to it. These vehicles were built as staff carriers, as group carrier(Gruppenkraftwagen) for the navy and the police. The common name was “Polizei-Cabrio”. Later versions were built on the 1,75 ton and even on the Blitz A chassis in the 1960’s. Similar vehicles were widely in use as fire fighter’s “Kraftzugspritze KzS8” towing a 1-axled trailer containing the pump.
